Elyria Landmarks Preservation Commission Information

When properties have been designated as part of the historic district, exterior changes only must be reviewed and approved by the Elyria Landmarks Preservation Commission in order to ensure that the historic integrity of the property and the district as a whole are maintained.

Meetings are only held if there is business before the Commission. So if planning to attend a meeting as an observer please contact Elyria City Hall (326-1535) to verify a meeting is being held.
